Summer Travel Plans

Lately, I’ve found myself itching for a vacation to somewhere warm/sunny and beachy. The only problem is having a husband who has limited vacation time and rarely gets a full weekend off. However, Aaron is off this WHOLE weekend, twice in one month by golly! I wish we were heading somewhere fun and Im still searching for weekend spots for his next golden weekend at the end of the month! Perhaps we will hop on a plane somewhere? Traveling is one of my favorite things to do so wouldn’t that be so fun and spontaneous? Speaking of which, have y’all used the Discover it Miles card? There are no annual fees and your miles never expire which is amazing for a travel card. 


We do have a beach vacation planed to Hilton Head at the end of the summer, but that just seems to far away for now! I’d like to plan a few small weekend getaways. Sometimes I think those are the best kind honestly! Ugh…..help! Tell me some of your favorite weekend trips you’ve taken and preferably warm and sunny places please?! The first year as a card member, Discover will double your travel miles, so up up and away I say!



On another note, the first three times I wore this shirt, I could have sworn there were lemons on it. Maybe I just assumed they were since the figures are yellow, or maybe I just never truly looked at them, but I just kept thinking “Oh, Ill wear that lemon shirt again.” It wasn’t until I was searching online to link to this top (which is on sale btw) that I realized they aren’t lemons, but flowers <palm to face>. Regardless, I still like this top and when life hands you lemons, or flowers….

I know I’ve been wearing this jacket in a ton in my Instagram posts, but it’s perfect for summer trips on those cool evenings. I wear it almost as much as my jean jacket which is a lot, so if you don’t have either, I suggest you add both to your closet. Old Navy has great price options right now. Both jackets are amazing for traveling too! Have a good one friends! And tell me, where are your summer travel plans taking you this summer?
