Easy Summer

It’s been so hot in NC (more humid actually), that I don’t want to wear anything tight fitting or covering. Since I tend to dress more modestly, walking around naked isn’t an option, so I’ve been opting for lose dresses and tops. You know the feeling where you sweaty (sorry, gross I know) and the wind blows it onto you and the shirt sticks? Ya, Im not a fan. Anyway, I found this dress on major sale at Zara a few weeks ago. It’s sold out, but I linked some similar ones like this above. I love how easy and breezy it is which makes the heat tolerable. 


I also love a good slip-on shoe when it’s humid. I am not about to wear some strappy complicated mess around when it’s 100 degrees because well, truth is, my feet get fat! It’s gross I know, so I’m sorry, but it’s true. Plus, I’ve just been loving clean lines and no fuss shoes which is exactly why I love these Birkenstocks from Famous Footwear. I’ve been wearing these non stop since getting them about a week ago and they are so comfortable and versatile. I love that you can dress them down or up- slide ’em on and you’re out the door. I know these are a must pack for our Hilton Head vacation in September!
