Striped Dress Take 14209157

Another day, another midi dress (or striped since I wear them all the time) that I am a tad bit obsessed with. This one reminds me of this that I posted last week, but it has stripes and a slit, but could easily be dressed down with sandals too which I love. I’m loving these dresses lately because while they are form fitting, they are also extremely comfortable and soft with just the right amount of stretch. So, when Hanes asked me to partner with them on some of their products, I took this as a chance to test out their Smoothing products. Smoothing and form fitting just seem to go together, don’t ya think? While you can’t see them (thank goodness that would be embarrassing), I am wearing the ComfortFlex ® Cotton Stretch Smoothing Briefs and my Ultimate T-Shirt Soft Underwire Bra under this dress. I love these products because not only are they comfortable, but there are no lines, which means I am able to wear dresses like this without being self conscious that my underwear lines are showing. I have to admit, it put my lace boy shorts that I typically wear to smoothing shame! Sorry if that’s TMI, but I think shape wear is really important! I love that scene in Steel Magnolias when they talk about “two pigs fighting under a blanket”

Now I have the urge to watch that movie and bawl my eyes out! 


If you haven’t checked out Hanes, y’all definitely should! I truly think it’s soft and comfortable, Comfort is such a big factor in my life because I sit at a desk most of the day and when I’m not sitting, I’m out running around with Aaron or friends. Plus, another tidbit is I wear the men’s t-shirts to bed and they are so cozy!
