Sweater (last season, but this one is identical) / Shoes c/o / Jeans / Bag c/o / Sunglasses / Necklace c/o Bip and Bop and Gorjana
When it’s still hot out but you have the urge to dress for fall, it can be a real challenge. I refuse to wear chunky sweaters and blanket scarves when it’s 90 degrees, but I’m also itching a little fall in my wardrobe. The past few days, I’ve been taking advantage of the cooler temps we’ve been having in mornings. Light knits and booties don’t seem so extreme when it’s only 65 degrees- you just better have something else to change into by mid afternoon.
In all honesty though, the other day was overcast and gloomy. It reminded me a lot of Ohio’s weather (gloomy), but I have to admit I loved it because it felt like fall and made me really excited for the season for the first time. Ohio’s falls are beautiful, it’s the one thing I miss about the weather there. Something else I’ve been super excited about are these peep toe booties from Famous Footwear. It makes perfect sense right? It’s too hot for regular booties, but why not some fabulous peep toes? Still breezy and yet fall like. 🙂 Why didn’t I come to this conclusion earlier this month? Anyway, this pair is great because the color is versatile and I love the detailing, plus they are comfortable (they also come in black!).
