I’m excited to be teaming up today with the fabulous Walking in Memphis in High Heels and Fashion Canvas today to show you our rad plaid. Okay, it may not be rad, but it rhymed, so I had to. I’ve teamed up with these talented ladies before, but I’m honored to be doing it again!

I picked up this vest last year and I still love it as much as I did then. J.Crew has an exact version in blue, but I also found a VERY similar red/navy version which I linked. I’m dying to add more to my closet this fall/winter, but I’m waiting for them to go on sale!

I wore this look to grab sushi with Aaron the other night. It was freezing when I was in Ohio last weekend visiting my parents and I was shocked to find it so cold in Durham on my way back! I don’t usually break out my knee high boots this early in NC, but I needed them Sunday night! This morning I actually put them back on top of my closet shelf, because after 12 days, the sun is finally shining in Durham and it’s supposed to be 72 today! Go figure, crazy weather.

Have you broke your boots out for the fall yet? I have been all about the booties, but something about riding boots just makes it very really that winter is looming!

    I've seen a lot of people around campus with knee high boots already here in Massachusetts and it kind of surprises me. I keep telling people, it get worse!! 😉 I love that vest – I need to get myself a vest.
