Gift Guide: The Hostess (Under $25.00)

November 18, 2015

Gift Guide Hostess

Cheese Knives / Burts Bees Hand Repair / Bottle Opener / Soap Box Sampler / Vino Wine Markers / Shot Glasses / Copper Mugs / Jewelry Box  / Socks to tie Around Wine Bottles / Cheese Board / Match Book / Capri Blue Cheer Candle

I was going to wait until next week to share my official first Gift Guide of the season, but with Thanksgiving next week, I thought this one would be beneficial! While not necessary, I completely believe in giving the hostess a small happy to show my appreciation for being so gracious. Hosting is a lot of work after all! Plus, it doesn’t have to be expensive. I always try to keep a hostess gift around $15-$20 dollars and I’ve rounded up some great options above under $25! I know the candle is $27, but I love love love Capri Blue Candles, they smell so amazing and I love how Anthropolgie has mini ones for $12.00. They have been my go-to hostess gift lately with a pack of matches. Who doesn’t love burning amazing candles (and the holiday scent is so so good).

I also read an article once that mentioned taking donuts or a casserole for the following morning is a nice touch. That way after a long night of hosting, it’s one less meal they have to worry about! The only trick with that is making sure they don’t have morning plans the next day! That’s why I always stick to a little happy!

A few weeks ago when we hosted our Pumpkin Party, my friend Hope brought me a wine bottle with a Halloween sock over it. She then used the other sock to tie a bow around the neck of the bottle. I thought it was clever and cute! Here is an example if you’re more visual. See what I mean? Affordable, cute and thoughtful.

Don’t forget your hosts this season! Of course, if you’re not hosting, you can also just choose to treat yo self!

Is it already that time of year!? Geez, time flys by quickly nowadays. This post reminded me that it’s time to start doing some of my own Christmas posts, thanks 😉

And I wouldn’t be mad if I got a bottle of wine in a sock. I’d be quite happy 🙂
