Winter layers. Possibly my favorite thing about winter. For a couple of reasons actually. 1. It’s the holidays. I can indulge and still cover up my cookie weight J and 2. It just feels so cozy. Whenever I leave the house in layers, I feel like I’m sitting on the couch in sweats and a baggy sweatshirt, wrapped in a blalnket with our two pups on either side. Plus, who doesn’t love that if you get hot you can just peel one away? You can’t do that in summer if you get hot, not unless you want to get arrested.

I’ve been wearing this Target fur vest on repeat for those reasons exactly, I feel like a little touch of fur goes with everything and honestly it’s so comfortable and festive. I love an embellished sweater or even sparkles, but sometimes those items are not the most comfortable to wear. I once wore a sequin dress for NYE and all night I was in misery thanks to it rubbing against my arms while I danced. Fur though, I can dance in that all night!

I mean, does anyone else feel like Target is nailing it this season? I posted these two looks last week and love the faux leather dress. And this Fair Isle tunic sweater? I’ve received so many compliments and honestly, people are always surprised when I say it’s from Target. It looks so much more expensive than it actually is which is a win- win in my book. On another note, how was everyone’s weekend? Ready for Thanksgiving? Have you started Christmas shopping? I started this weekend and knocked a few out, but I am definitely ready to get moving! I have a goal to be done within the next two weeks so I can sit back, stare at my Christmas decorations and sip egg nog. It’s a pretty big goal, but I’m up for the challenge!
