Navy and Black

I remember in high school when I considered it a faux pas to wear navy and black. Now…I love the combo. It sleek and chic in my opinion. This vest combines both navy and black and I know I’ll be wearing it non stop this winter. I am loving the long line items this season, they are classic, chic and can be layered over so many items. Perfect for adding a little fur to make it a simple holiday look.

And can we talk about these Black faux leather pants? I usually hate leather or faux leather pants on me simply because I have big legs, but I love how these are slimming and actually fit me. I nabbed them at the Nordstrom semi-annual sale, but they are still available and I highly recommend them.

Tonight Aaron and I are getting fancied up for my Junior League’s cookbook launch party. If you know anything about the Leagues, you know the cookbooks are amazing, they are timeless recipes passed down for generations.
