Being from Ohio, it is still so odd to me that many of the trees here in Durham still have their leaves. It looks more like fall than Christmas time and today the temps are supposed to hit like 75 degrees. Is this what living in California is like? Regardless, I’m thankful for the beautiful weather and the fact that tonight is the annual Duke Christmas Party, which means I wont be freezing in my dress thank goodness. This year is actually a little bittersweet since it’s our good friends Hope and J’s last year, so we plan to dance and pretend like they are staying forever tonight. Party like it’s 1999, right Will?
Can we talk about these booties for a minute? I was eyeing a much more expensive pair the other day and then stumbled upon these that were an exact replica for half the price. Thank you Famous Footwear. I’ve been perusing the style gallery to see all the ways I can style them which I love. These are definitely going to Ohio with me when we leave in a week. I’m attempting to pack super light this year which I always struggle with. It means I need to make sure every items is versatile and can be worn numerous times which is exactly why these booties are coming along.
Have any packing tips you can share? I need all the help I can get!

Oh, cute! What a steal at such a good price. There are a pair of booties at Primark I have my eye on right now! I also got a sweater like this when I went shopping today! I’m so excited – it has a huge chunky turtle neck and I can’t wait to wear it. I wish I got it 1 size bigger though so there was a little more room to breath, like yours!
