Is there anything better than over sized this time of year? I mean, cozy, comfortable and warm. All good things. I bought this cocoon coat last year from J.Crew and while I could have bought a smaller size (this is a 6), I still love how big and cozy it is. I grabbed it on sale and when it was too big, thought, oh well- but looking back, I wish I would have nabbed a 4. Regardless, I wear this coat all the time (and this sweater).

If you follow me on snapchat (Welchie24) and Instagram (amy_cbandbp), you this past weekend, I visited my blogger babe Kat. It’s funny, I started reading Kathleen’s blog long before I ever “met” her. Then one day we connected and started chatting through social media, etc. When she worked for Urban Decay, she flew out to Raleigh and we were able to grab cocktails together- it was so crazy how it seemed like I’d known her forever! So, after a year or so of not seeing each other, but sending lots of snapchats of our adorable pets (seriously, follow her, she’s hilar) – I booked a flight and went out there. We spent the weekend just laying low and exploring where she lives which is gorgeous and I am just so thankful her husband put up with us all weekend. It just goes to show that not all friendships have to be the talk everyday, see each other all the time kind of relationships. I’m already hoping that Kat will come visit NC sometime!

Anyway, the time zone change has me feeling extra sleepy today, so here is to a quick workday so I can climb into my PJs extra early this evening and snuggle my pups!

    This is such a lovely outfit, Amy! I love the sweater and it looks great paired with the white skinnies. I’m also swooning over that purse! That’s awesome that you were able to spend the weekend with your friend. Isn’t it amazing how social media can make you feel like you’ve known someone for forever, yet have never met them in person?!
