Long Line Cardigan

Cardigan (similar) / Turtleneck / Bag c/o / Leggings / Shoes / Sunglasses

I have been loving long line cardigan/open jackets recently. It’s as if every time I’m in a store they speak to me and then I leave with them. I think I’m drawn to the ease of them. Just throwing them over anything and everything and yet, still looking put together. I’ve thrown so many things over this sleeveless turtleneck (which I also love) and this is by far my fav combo. Can I also discuss how fabulous this one is? It may become an early birthday gift to myself (very early).

If you can’t tell from the photos, North Carolina has been so wet lately. Rain, snow, ice- my yard is a swamp which makes for very dirty carpet and floors sadly when you have two dogs. I never realized how messy big dogs are. Bella barely makes a dent in the mud with her 7.5lbs body, so Georgia’s 44 lbs. body is quite different. A few weeks ago, I was perusing the pet store (I swear I spend more money there than on myself) and  came across some dog rain boots. If you follow me on snapchat (welchie24), you know they are neon yellow and G is not a fan, but let me tell you- the wiping process is MUCH easier with the boots! I’d love to know other suggestions you have for keeping your floors clean during monsoon season.

This is why people have cats, fish and turtles. No mess!
