Y’all this Plaid Jacket. It’s warm, cozy and ahhmazing. Sadly, the temperatures in NC are back up. We turned off our heat last night since I broke out a sweat vacuuming- but I assure you as soon as they plummet, I’m wearing this bad boy again. It’s kind of odd since it has these two flaps that act as a scarf (or just hang), but I actually love them since it makes the coat less formal and more over sized. Plus, it’s all neutral, so it can be worn with anything which is always a win.
Before I left for California, Bella (our small dog) had to get seven teeth removed. SEVEN! She knocked one out around Christmas and since, they have just started coming loose. So, our vet decided for precautionary measures, to just have most removed. Needless to say, I was devastated. I got Bella when Aaron and I were living apart and he had started Medical School. The long distance was hard for me, and at the time I was living with a not so nice girl I met on CL (another day another story). Bella is honestly, one of my greatest loves. She seems fine now, but eating is definitely a little bit of a struggle right now. The vet said small dogs don’t need their teeth, so tell me, has anyone had this happen? How did your little pup do? I’d love any advice possible!
Thanks for reading and cheers to out dogs, aren’t they just the best?

Great jacket! My maltipoo (7 years old) has had 2 or 3 teeth removed and our vet has told us the same thing.

First Love this coat! Second our cat (not a dog but fits the small category) had all his teeth removed. He was a happier cat! I was worried about him eating but found that his gums hardened and he did just fine with dry food! I tell you animals adapt much more than we think they would. I am positive Bella will be fine and be able to eat, and probably without pain.

Have no worries about Bella, Amy. I have an 11 year old Yorkie who has, I think, 3 teeth left–all in the front. She eats more now than she has in her 11 years…and she eats EVERYTHING. Her food (dry), the puppy’s food (dry), our food, stuff that isn’t even food. I call her my “Little Fat Black Duck” because she is so doggone fat now. Bella will adapt perfectly. You look beautiful. I love that jacket. That is beautiful and a great transition piece!
