I feel crazy even talking about bathing suits in February, but let’s be real for a minute. Bathing suit season is honestly right around the corner. Am I okay with that? No. I still have ten pounds I want to drop before summer, but thanks to Target’s bathing selection I’m able to find something I feel comfortable in despite not reaching those New Year goals quite yet. Plus, I love their #nofomo campaign that reminds women to have no regrets about missing events just because of body insecurities.

Two weekends ago when I went out to visit my friend Kat, she texted me and said “bring a swimsuit for the spa.” I have to admit, I was like, “oh hell no, this body is not ready to be in a swimsuit.” Especially next to Kat who is tiny and has an amazing body! But, why miss out on a fun day at the spa because I hate my thighs, boobs, etc. While I do ultimately want to lose some weight this season, I’m slowly coming to terms that I’ll never be 5’10 or have long legs, so I need to embrace these short legs and be happy and thankful that they can take me places. I often get so wrapped up in the comparison. Have y’all ever read the quote “comparison is the thief of joy?” It’s so true and it’s something I’m really working on in life.

So, with the spa in mind, I set out for Target and tried on a bunch of suits that I thought would look good on my body. I’ve compiled a selection of all of their great options above.
