I love a good vest fo’real. They are great in the winter over sweaters, but perfect for spring time layering as well. I actually saw a similar DVF vest not long ago for like quadruple the price tag of this one, so I was thrilled to find something so similar actually in my price range. Plus, I love the color blocking on it, don’t you? Black, white and blue all rolled into one item? How could one resist?

How was everyone’s weekend? Aaron was off all weekend. No call, no rounding, no work- nada. I can’t even remember the last time that happened, but I loved it. The weather was great and while we didn’t do much, we enjoyed each others company. We ran a ton of errands and did adult things around the house like pulling weeds, grocery shopping and playing with our favorite mutts. Also, we picked our vacuum up from the Vacuum Cleaner Hospital. You guys, I can’t even make this stuff up. Since we got Georgia, our vacuum cleaner has just not been the same- I know it’s because of my hair, dog hair and Aaron hair, but two weeks ago, it just stopped picking anything up! I literally would throw like a skittle (okay maybe a piece of dirt) on the floor and run over it and it wouldn’t clean the floor. So I told Aaron that we needed a new one. I was about to blow money on a Dyson when I decided to do some research and check out repair. We have this vacuum and have had it since we got married, and I’ve been so happy with it. Anyway, I found the “Hospital”, took it in and the woman said it merely had a clog- she also said vacuums need to be serviced every 6-8 months to keep them functioning properly. Whhhattt? Now I know and I hope you do too! Ha! For 50.00, our vacuum is new again and I’m so glad I didn’t drop $650.00 on a Dyson. I’ve heard they’re great, but the woman said she thinks Shark and Dyson are one in the same (between you and me she said, well now it’s between me and all of you).

So that was a story/blog post about a vacuum, but honestly, I was fascinated that they need to be serviced. Real adult things went down this weekend y’all! And don’t laugh, my carpet is more clean than it’s been in months!
