Pastel for Spring

Mules / Top / Tank / Necklace / Hat / Jeans / Bracelets 1, 2, 3 / Sunglasses (similar)

These pictures were snapped a few weeks ago when the weather was sunny and spring like. So naturally, I wanted to wear all things pastel like this button up that I’ve styled numerous ways already. This past weekend was quite different- cold, misty and gray. Not ideal for Aaron being off and not ideal when it was just 80 degrees five seconds ago. It’s really playing with my head too. I’ve been getting the worst headaches/migraines lately and I think all this weather change has to do with it. Does that affect any of you?

My mules are from last season, but they are my favorite transition shoe and holy cow, just so comfortable (almost identical version). when mules first started coming around again, I thought they were a little “old lady-ish,” but if anything now I realize why older women wear them… comfort! I’m now a mule-believer. Speaking of “old ladyish” – these jeans have a four button closure and remind me of something my sisters wore in the 80s. This is why I can get rid of nothing. You just never know. I mean just look at overalls- now I want a pair and of course I probably had ten pair in the early 90s (not that they would fit anymore, but still). Tell me, have you caved and bought anything that’s past decade inspired lately? Bell bottoms, overalls, etc? Tell me, also..do I need it?

Happy Monday- I’m trying something new where I only drink one cup of coffee per day. I’m failing miserably!
