Trench Coat for Spring

If you don’t have a trench coat, you need one. They are one of those perfect staple pieces that I think every woman should have in her closet. Definitely part of the capsule wardrobe that I talked about on Friday. I love this trench – it’s a thick scuba like material, but the inside is a jersey/flannel material which is super cozy. Perfect for spring days that are still a bit chilly and fall days that aren’t quite warm enough for the “big coats” yet. And even though this one is over $100.00, that doesn’t mean they all are. I picked this one up at H&M a few years ago (similar ones here) and it was under $60 and it’s easily one of my favorite and most complimented pieces.

This past weekend was on call, so I hung with girlfriends and got some things checked off of my to-do list. Why is it that literally making that check mark feels so good? But then the things I didn’t check off, feel.so.bad. I have to admit, I am the type of person who writes things down just to check them off. Woke up (check!). Do you make to do lists? I make one for the week and then one each day. Creature of habit I tell ya. And pretty to do lists never hurt.
