Jacket 1 / Jacket 2 / Jacket 3 / Jacket 4 / Jacket 5
- Utility Jacket – I purchased this utility jacket years ago, an each spring/summer I find myself reaching for it. I think I’ve had it since freshman year of college, but its one of my faves despite the age. I throw is over stripes, dresses, tee shirts..anything really. I recently got this one in blue and I love it just as much. If you don’t have one, I’d say you’re going to get a ton of wear out of olive or blue. Here is one for under $50.00.

2. Jean Jacket – Another staple I’ve had since college. This one is so broken in now and uber comfy. I get so much wear out of it, I’m thinking about buying a this one too since the wash is different. I throw my current one over almost every summer dress in my closet. Here is one for under $50.00.

3. Linen Blazer – I actually picked my linen blazer up during an end of season sale last year and I’m so glad I did. I love blazers. They are the perfect take you from work to cocktails pieces and I have more than I’d like to admit. Linen ones are great because they are strictly for warmer weather and this one I’m wearing and this one actually have small little flecks of metallic lining which is so fun and summery. I know that blazers can be an investment, but they are worth every cent if you love them. Here is a great option under $100.00.

4. Trench Coat – if you’re a working gal and don’t have a trench, you need one. I know it’s technically a “trench coat,” but to me, it’s lightweight enough to take you through chilly spring days and make any outfit look fabulous. I mean can you imagine this outfit without the trench? It just doesn’t have the same impact! She’s so fab. I love the one below, but I also love the classic camel colored trench and here is one for under $60.00.
5. Leather jacket – Yes. leather is hot, sticky and can be constricting. But you know what it can also be for spring if the temps are cool enough? A great layering piece over a cute dress, faux and chic. I love this faux option and even the suede one I’m wearing below from here.

There ya have it, my top five jackets needed for spring. But let’s be honest, just needed in general. Yes, you typically skip the jacket for summer, but what about those crazy cold places thanks to the A/C? I struggle with that every.single.day in my office. Bring on the jackets! What did I miss? What jackets do you love?
We’ve made it to the hump, thanks for sticking with me this week!

I have all of these with the exception of a linen blazer! I’ll have to get one. Linen is such a great spring/summer style.
