There is no denying I love a good shirt dress. When I saw this one from here I immediately knew that it would be going home with me. They are honestly so great because you can easily dress them up, wear them over jeans, dress them down and more. I’m tempted to buy it in another color since it comes in three, but I’m also trying to remember that my bank account hates me. I hate it when my head and my $ disagree, don’t you? You have to admit though, the blue is good. I kind of love it.

On another note, my parents got into town last night. They are completely spur of the moment people. It all started with a call on Tuesday that went “hey, what are you doing this weekend?” Once I said we had little to no plans (except for a baby shower for a dear friend), they decided to drive on down to NC. My parents don’t really travel, plan or like to fly..so it’s always a mystery when they will end up somewhere by car. I always blame my mother’s lack of planning on my crazy OCD planning tendencies because it drives me nuts! Ask me what I’m doing in six months on a weekend and chances are, I will have some idea. Regardless, I am so happy they are here for a visit. I haven’t seen them since Christmas, so a spring time visit is just what the doctor ordered. Plus, my house “to-do” list ordered a very handy dad who knows the home ropes (as Aaron and I do not), so I’m hoping some small items can be tackled this weekend!
