So this blog post is going up realll late today. My parents were in town this weekend which means I had a ball and ate my weight in delicious food, but it also means I got zero checked off my to-do list and had to run around like a crazy woman yesterday to get tasks done for the week. After they left (tear), Aaron and I headed out to do those Sunday afternoon tasks we all do (eat brunch, grocery shop, etc). You do them too, right? Aaron laughed at me because I’ve literally been wearing this dress non stop. This was day three last week, but who is counting? It’s in the wash now sadly. It’s just such a great spring maxi dress and I love that the sleeves are 3/4 for these chilly spring days we’ve been having.
I’ve talked about Durham and it’s amazing food on so may occasions, but one type we haven’t had since moving to Durham is great Indian. We had the best place in Athens, OH where we went to graduate school and since, it’s just been missing from our diet. So we set out on a mission to find some tasty Indian food, scouring reviews and whatnot. Since I get migraines, I always carry bars in my bag (thank you Fly Joy) because I can’t go long periods of time without eating (it triggers them for me). Plus, I can’t lie, I just like to eat and need snacks often. If I don’t have something, I’m pretty much like this.
Luckily, after grocery shopping, we were able to get a great recommendation from a friend and I survived thanks to my delicious bar. Seriously, if you love bars, or just need emergency fuel, these are quite tasty and they give a portion of every bar sold to HOPE International- what’s not to love about that? Anyway, If you’re in the Durham/Ch area, we tried this and I loved the authentic ambience and the food was def. a winner. We will be going back. Sadly after we filled out bellies, it was off to run more errands. I have so much to get done this week, I’m heading to Chicago this weekend to celebrate one of my besties for her bachelorette and it’s going to be a busy, busy week getting everything in order! #butimsoexcited
I hope you had a great weekend! Thanks for reading as always!

I would wear that dress 3 times too if I had it! I have a pair of sandals similar to yours and I find that they go with everything.
