Spring Sweater

Next week, I’ll be sharing my favorite jackets for spring with y’all, but I’ll let you in on a little secret, the trench is definitely one of them. If you don’t have a trench coat, you must get one. Weather depending, they are perfect for anytime of year, and they are just classic wardrobe staples. I love this scuba one (also worn here) because 1. it’s white and bright and 2. the inside is a flannel like material so it’s perfect for those chilly spring days. Plus, I love that it’s a different take on the classic beige trench (although I love my tan one as well).

You know something else you need in a spring wardrobe besides a good trench? A good spring sweater. I love this one and I know it will look adorable with jeans shorts on those summer nights (cue this song). I’m all kinds of excited for those suuuummmmmmerrrr nighhhhtttsss.

Today is my husband’s birthday AND he has the whole weekend off. I mean, it’s a last year of his 20’s birthday miracle. Since he worked all last weekend during my birthday (I am a whole 3 days older than him), I am looking forward to spending some time with him, friends and our pups. I don’t know what the weekend has in store for us, but I have a feeling it will be great. And yes, my husband’s birthday is on April Fools Day…ha
