Striped Skirt for Spring

I love stripes and a good striped skirt is even more on point. Of course, as soon as I bought this one, it sold out online (maybe they still have it), but I have linked similar ones above and below. I’m a little embarrassed to admit how many striped midi or knee length skirts I have, but they are just so good can’t resist stripes and especially vertical ones that give these legs a little bit of length! Besides, it’s that time again for midi skirts, heels, straw hats and tied blouses…ahh spring, I’ve bee waiting for you.

How was everyone’s weekend? Aaron finished up his most difficult rotation in residency to date, and I’m happy that he’ll be around more and also that his pager wont be waking us up every three hours in the middle of the night. We were able to celebrate his birthday Friday night with good friends and it was a great Friday night to kick off the weekend. We have-  been so blessed to meet some amazing and what I’m sure will be life long friends here in Durham. I also just reconnected with a friend I had a falling out with years ago and it just feels so good on my heart to know that there is still love and respect between us. Friendship is funny like that. Some people are meant to be in your lives forever, and some only a short time, but it’s amazing how each has an impact. HE really knows what he’s doing up there.

I’m currently writing this as I sip my coffee, so I’m going to sign off. There is a to-do list seven miles long and it’s not going to “do” itself. I hope y’all have a Monday filled with fresh coffee, sunshine and friendship! I am thankful for yours!
