Maybe you noticed, or maybe you didn’t, but I’ve been a little MIA lately here and I apologize (if you care). Last week we had new counter-tops installed and re-did our backslash. We paid a professional to do the counters and plumbing, but to save money, Aaron and I decided to DIY the tile. OY. Why/how do the Youtubers make it look so easy? Because it’s not (for us anyway). Our house was a disaster last week, so I quickly learned how miserable it is to not have a kitchen. The icing on the cake was that my mother-in-law came to visit this past weekend, so we had to scrambled to get everything set back up before her arrival, which worked, but was also a lot of work! We still need to grout and caulk the tile to finish- I’ll be so happy when it’s finished! Regardless, things were crazy last week, so my posting was sporadic, I hope y’all understand and can relate.

I was joking with my mother in law that you can test the strength of a marriage by doing a home DIY together. Aaron and I see things very differently in terms of project management, but we didn’t kill each other and he got to buy a saw, so I’m considering it a success!!
