Off the Shoulder

I will be the first to admit that when off the shoulder tops started coming “in” I was the first to think, “oh heck no.” I thought that since I’m larger in the chest area, that I couldn’t pull one off and surely they only worked for tall model-esque built girls. And therein lies the lesson of dressing, it’s okay to know what looks good on your body and own those styles, but it’s also okay to try new things and branch out from time to time. If the stylist wouldn’t have brought this to my dressing room, I would have NEVER grabbed this shirt and guess what? Once I put it on, I realized, I kind of liked it and it didn’t look half bad. I am completely aware that every off-the-shoulder top may not look great on me and to be honest, but this day was different because the employee brought a simple white tee that looked comfy, so I thought, “why not”. Maybe a short, big boobed blonde can pull off off-the-shoulder tops after all. And then everyone lived happily ever after… 🙂 I wish life were that easy…

Now, if I could just understand how people keep these things off their shoulders…anyone? Bueller, bueller?

You may have noticed I’ve been wearing this Daniel Wellington watch like crazy. I love it’s classic design and I just recently purchased one for my mom for Mother’s Day. I love that it can be dressed up or down and cognac goes with everything, so it’s been on my wrist quite frequently lately. #sorrynotsorry

I hope y’all have a great Wednesday. Hump day is also such a relief for me until I realize I have to make it through a whole day of work to actually say we’ve made it half way. Oh well, fill that cup up with whatever you love (just no booze until after 12pm). Cheers to Friday eve tomorrow!
