Oy, sorry for this late post today y’all. This weekend was such a whirlwind, I know I keep saying this, but where is the time going? I can’t believe it’s already June 6th! My spring cleaning list has slowly developed into my summer cleaning list and that spring diet is…well, whomp whomp. UGH. I literally looked at the calendar Saturday and thought, “crap, Father’s Day is right around the corner.” My dad is probably the hardest person to shop for in the entire world. I feel like he has everything and I continually get him the same gifts over and over (shirts, cologne, etc.). Don’t get me wrong, my dad appreciates them, but what he loves most is a visit and a written card or letter. I talked about #hallmarkatwalgreens for Mother’s Day and once again, they did not disappoint. I was able to check off Father’s Day cards this past weekend for both my dad and my father in law. Both men could not be more different, but luckily there is always a great variety of funny cards (for my FIL) and serious cards (for my dad).
After a marathon of running errands, I started slowly checking things off my to do list for the weekend. I am a compulsive to-do list checker/maker and I always feel so defeated when I don’t get everything done, but today I started a new one, so oh well! It all rolls over. I was able to get the cards signed and sealed- now just to brainstorm creative/amazing/non boring gifts! #lesigh We will actually be with my Father in Law during Father’s Day because we are heading to Chicago for my Brother in Law’s residency graduation, so it will be nice to celebrate with one of the dad’s in my life. But I also wish I could see my own dad. He is the bees knees and the hardest working man I know and while I am so Lucky (great card for him!) to have him.
Tell me/help me, what are other gifts you get your dad? I know the Hallmark cards mean the world to him, but for once, I’d love to get him an accompanying gift that he just loves! Any suggestions are appreciated!
Happy Monday! I’m on my fourth cup of coffee and no plans to stop!
p.s. how cute was G while I was writing cards? I just love her silly face!

Seriously, time is going so fast! I really want summer to slow down! So excited for you to visit Chicago – it’s the best! (I’m a little biased haha!). And I LOVE that white tunic! So cute!
