I’ve shared this look on Instagram and I wanted to do a blog post on it as well since I love this top. I am definitely someone who didn’t think I could pull the “off-the-shoulder” trend off. Since I’m a little larger in the chest area, I thought it would make my boobs look huge, luckily this top is amazing because it lays perfectly and I love that it’s half on, half off the shoulders. Plus, it’s seersucker and I am a “sucker” for that in itself! Anyway, if you’re not sure about the off the shoulder look, I would actually recommend something similar to ease into it.
If you read Monday’s blog post- you know Aaron is road tripping with his brother and I’m alone with the pups. We’ve been watching a lot of movies and trying not to get too scared (I am a big chicken!). I’m also trying to check about one million thing off my to-do list by myself which is always challenging. I’m looking forward to Aaron coming home so I have another set of hands around! Taking two dogs out in the morning is just not that fun. Anyway, I watch The Holiday the other night because it was on TV and while I always consider it a Christmas movie, I find myself loving it anytime of year. I especially love this scene, it’s my fav. I know Jude Law is a hottie, but I actually enjoy Jack Black and Kate Winslet’s story line better. It’s just so cute. Plus, I hate the whole no crying, voice over part of the Cameron side…it just irks me. Kind of like when movies have the actors talk to the camera. I hate that. Sex and the City did that for the first season and honestly, I probably wouldn’t have loved it if that happened all throughout. It just makes me feel uncomfortable. Maybe I’m a weirdo, does that bother you?
