From here and here and countless other posts, you know I love a good shirt dress. They are versatile and this one is no different. I have been a huge fan of Vineyard Vines’ classic looks since high school. The quality of their items is amazing and their pieces are easily worn season after season. So, when I saw this adorable sleeveless shirt dress, I knew I had to have it. I’ve styled it numerous ways already, wear it with flats, heels, wedges- so a win in my book already.

So notice on the picture where I’m sitting the marks on my arm? I burnt myself with…wait for it…..the steamer. I can’t make this up you guys. I was steaming a shirt and got a little too close. I obviously know you can get burnt by steam, but I didn’t think it would blister, scab and scar like it has. I mean, #idiot status. I swear it was near the steam for a millisecond and this is what I end up with. This is one powerful steamer. Battle scars, whatever, at least my shirt was not wrinkled. 🙂 Always looking on the bright side!

I hope you had a great weekend, I got a little burnt at the pool because again, #idiot, but it was a great weekend overall with friends and sunshine. This weekend we’re heading to Chicago for my brother-in-law’s residency graduation. We are heading to the Chicago Cubs game and I hope a Chicago Dog is in my future. SO hurry up weekend, I’ve got a fun weekend plan!
