Everyone should have that one dress in their closets that’s conservative, yet fun. To me, a great shirt dress is just that and since I hate my legs, a good midi dress is right down my alley. Plus, I love palm print- for reallllzzz. I absolutely love this one from here, but sadly, it’s not sold out. However, this one is similar (and stripes would be great for fall) and 60% off #score.

How was everyone’s weekend? I chill-axed by my lonesome on Friday night and while it sounds a little lonely, I am the type of person who needs those nights every once and awhile I poured some wine, and got “Rikki and the Flash” from Redbox. Did anyone see that? I thought it was really cute and while it may have been the wine, I cried. Although, I cry at commercials, so it could also be that I’m just a super emotional person. 🙂 Can anyone relate? After the movie, Coyota Ugly came on, so of course, I stayed up wayyyy past my bedtime, and then cried some more. I’d like to think I just missed Aaron. 🙂

If you’re married, what was your first song? I’m just curious in general because mine and Aaron is in Coyote Ugly and when I was in Charleston with my girlfriends we discussed first dance songs. It’s crazy how they fade, become unpopular and become forgotten. I remember putting so much thought into ours and while it’s cliche, I still love it every time I hear it. So tell me, what was yours?

Happy Monday (I think). I’m trying not to wish 5/7 of my life away (read post here), but I am looking forward to next Monday when we’ll be flying to gorgeous St. Lucia for a week. Any suggestions are welcome!
