As women, we want to be able to wear anything. Any shape, style, etc. but the reality is that most of us just can’t. I have friends that are tall and thin and it always seems like they can wear anything, but unfortunately, I am short, more of an athletic build and not 5’10, 120 lbs. 🙂 I’ve always loved big, oversized dresses, but I’m full aware that this style doesn’t really suit my body type. I need to have a waist. With that said however, sometimes, you just have to break the rules because you love something so much. This lacey details dress is a rule breaker for me. Who doesn’t love a gorgeous lace dress that you can actually breath in?

You guys, I honestly feel like 1000 lbs has been lifted off my shoulders. If you follow me on snap (welchie24), you know I was cleaning my closet and checking a million other things off my to-do list this weekend while Aaron worked. Of course, I never got all the way through it, but whew! I have been feeling so completely overwhelmed with life lately. Working full time and blogging full time definitely has it’s ups and downs and while I’m thankful I’ve been able to balance both, sometimes it comes at the expense of my sanity. So whenever I can actually buckle down and get a little ahead, I feel amazing. I’m sure you know the feeling too! I’d love your tips on how you balance it all, especially from the mommas! Y’all just amaze me and I need to know it’s possible!

And with that, I’m off to start this Monday on a productive note…by drinking 3 cups of coffee and eating a whole grain waffle with PB. Cheers to a great week friends, thank you for reading!
