A little late posting today, but better late than never, am I right? It’s been a little cooler here in Durham which means I’m trying to take advantage that it’s now September (whattttt?) by wearing some fall stuff and show you how I’m wearing white jeans for fall. I wore this right before it down poured, so it was breezy which was nice, but I think we still have another month and a half of 80-90 degree temperatures sadly.

I do love that time between summer and fall when you can wear jeans or shorts with a soft and cozy sweater, don’t you? It’s my favorite- the blending of the two seasons wardrobes. This sweater from Boho Blu Boutique is good y’all. It’s lightweight and so soft which means I wanted to wear it right away after getting it out of the packaging. Paired with these jeans (for under $70), it’s a win. White jeans are a necessity and I have worn these all summer long and will continue to do so. If you don’t have some knee cut out jeans, you need some.

I’ve actually been wearing this sweater every night over my PJs. It’s freezing on our ground floor because the A/C is blasting, but it’s so hot upstairs since heat rises. It’s a catch 22 really, so instead of sweltering in our sleep, we just live like Eskimos downstairs and bundle up (i.e. this sweater on repeat).  Is your house like that if it’s two stories? My boss told me we need to get our A/C serviced once yearly, but how was I supposed to know that? My dad is supposed to tell me these things, but he’s all the way back in Ohio! #firstworldproblems I know.

Speaking of Ohio, Aaron and I are heading home for the long weekend which will be great. I haven’t been back since Christmas last year, so it will feel good to be back in my stomping grounds! Make sure you’re following our road trip on Snapchat (welchie24)! We plan to drug the dogs because they are NUTS in the car. Any tips for that?
