Happy Monday (is that even possible!?). How was everyone’s weekend? Because of the storm (I hope everyone is safe and has power), we laid pretty low all weekend which was A-ok in my book because I was able to relax and mark some things off my to-do list. We did get the chance to try a new brewery and hang a bit in downtown Durham, but Sunday was my favorite since was vegged out and made chili for dinner. Fall is my favorite because it means every meal can go in the crockpot and cook itself, I mean, who doesn’t love that? I was also able to FINALLY get my fall decor out which doesn’t consist of much, but still helps me feel a little festive for the season!

I wore this vest on IG a bit ago (and will be sharing the look soon on the blog) and while I love it, I know the price is pretty steep. That’s why I love this one and it’s under $30!I love vests this time of year because I can easily strip them off if I get too warm. I wore this vest over a tunic from Kannon’s Women (great basics) at at Cameron Village (have you been if you’re local? Lots of cute little boutiques and pink walls!), we and decided to peruse around. I stumbled upon the Cheshire Cat, an antique gallery (check out the gorgeous Ginger Jars below and the pumpkins I scored here) which I had never visited and also this backpack from Mori Luggage. I’ve been peeping backpacks for fall lately because I’ve really wanted one (everything always comes back around) and I loved this size. Bigger than a purse, but a great size for a carry on. The bigger the better for my carry-ons….sadly.

    I haven’t worn a backpack since middle school but that one is actually super cute! I could totally see it working as a diaper bag for me too. 🙂
