I like to keep this space on the interwebs very positive, but I also always want to be honest with y’all. Life has been HARD/BUSY lately. Aaron is on a terrible rotation and my work life has been so busy, frustrating, etc. that blogging has seemed like “work” than the actual enjoyment that it is. Aaron and I literally have been pulling 80+ hour work weeks and instead of laying low together after work, we’ve been “catching up” in the evenings on our computers.

But sometimes you just need a night off. This week I’ve been feeling more drained, so at 4PM yesterday when Aaron texted me and said “want to grab a beer” I was like YES despite the 1000 things I had set out to complete. It was a debate night and a CUBS series night, so we enjoyed some brews and some time off from social media (which we need to do more). It was just the reset I needed for two more workdays. It was also the most amazing reminder that at the end of the day, we are human, we only get one life, live in each moment. We’re back to the grind today, but it’s all good because we have two more days until the weekend and Aaron is OFF ALL WEEKEND. YAY.-

I’ve been absolutely loving my Daniele Wellinton’s #perfectmatch bracelet. I’ve been wearing it with my typical stack and I love the rose gold look it adds. I am SUCH a fan of their items. I’ve bought almost every family member a watch and now I have gift ideas for Christmas with the cuffs. (look for code above).
