We made it! This week was an absolute doozy. My oldest sister had a bad accident with some bacon grease and suffered some terrible burns, while my middle sister gave birth to a baby boy! Prayers are needed for my sister who is seeing a burn specialist and may need some surgery, it’s much appreciated. On a positive note though, my sister’s baby is the first official boy in our family. Both of my sister’s children have been girls (we still love them loads of course!) and of course, I only have sisters, so we were lacking in males! Luckily we are all married, so we have plenty now, but there is nothing like a new little chunky babe! I wont be able to head back home until Christmas to see him, but thank goodness for facetime!
Aaron is working again this weekend (a 24 Hr on Saturday), so I’m hoping once he wakes up on Sunday we can go do something fun in this now amazing fall weather. Until he does get off, I’m going to be head’s down at my desk trying to catch up on some things because I’m out of town the first two weekends in November and then it’s Thanksgiving! Ahh time is just flying friends, it’s crazy. I started Christmas shopping last week and I am already feeling overwhelmed…why do we do it to ourselves!
