Little Gray Dress

Just like a LBD (little black dress), I think every girl needs a LGD (little gray dress) in her closet. In fact, I think we should have a great dress in every neutral (navy, white, black, gray, tan, etc, etc). I’ve talked a lot about investing in versatile items and this dress was great because it literally took me from work to cocktails for an event I had with my Junior League’s new cookbook. I love all of the Maggy London dresses in my closet because I continually wear them year in and out and I find they have great versatility. Plus, I think they are reasonably priced and hold up amazingly. Can we also talk about this cape/blazer? Adrianna Papell is another brand I just cannot get enough of. If I were to get married again you can be sure that my bridesmaids would be in their amazing gowns. SWOON.

Anyway, as I mentioned I wore this to our Cookbook press event last night and then headed home to watch the Cubs get absolutely STOMPED by the Indians. Since I’m from Ohio, it would make sense to root for the Indians, but since Aaron has always been a Cubs fan, I kid of inherited his love when we started dating. If the two teams were not playing, I would definitely be rooting for the Indians, but for now, go Cubbies and actually hit the ball tonight! My father-in-law is actually going to the World Series game tonight, how crazy is that? $$ But also, such an amazing experience.

Are you watching? I’m honestly not a huge baseball fan, but since it’s the World Series and such an exciting match up, I’m a little more into it this year.
