Pink on Pink for Breast Cancer

I shared this top on Instagram the other day, but I wanted to do a full blog post because I love it. I also love that purchasing it or anything from (Ann Taylor) will provide research funds to Breast Cancer research. I spoke with a woman the other day that was telling me about her Breast Cancer story and it was just heart breaking. But she was a lucky one. Her advice, go to the doctor, get those ladies checked! I know this is a little taboo and people don’t talk about it, but people always think, “It can never happen to me. It doesn’t run in my family.” But sadly, cancer doesn’t discriminate, it’s a total bitch and does what it wants. #reginageorge And frankly in medicine, there isn’t enough funds allocated in any specialty for research. We should be putting more and more into it so those really brainy people can figure out ways to say “F you cancer” (pardon my french). So thanks Ann Taylor for lending a hand. More stores need to be like you. Plus, the girly in me loves that BC awareness is represented by the color pink, because why not?

Anyway, enough about my lecturing to the internet Gods. 🙂 I live with a physician, so I just want to reiterate what he tells me daily/yearly, etc. But in ll honesty, who doesn’t love pink on pink and some pretty earrings that are pink too?

It’s been cooler the last few night in NC and we’ve been sleeping with the windows open which has been a dream. However, I think the other night G got cold because at about 1 AM, OMPF! A 40lbs dog jumped on the bed and landed on my stomach, if that isn’t a rude awakening, I don’t know what is. It’s only fair though, Bella sleeps with us, so why can’t G?

Do you let your dogs sleep with you? My husband hates it, but Bella slept with me before he did, so she stays. 🙂 And occasionally G is welcome too.

Aaron and I are off to see RENT on Broadway tonight and I’m so excited! I haven’t seen and I love musicals, although I’m not sure anything could beat Phantom… but I like to keep an open mind. Have you seen it?

    I love this coat! You look gorgeous as always! Our dog sleeps with us too and she just jumped on my stomach yesterday and knocked the air out of me (she’s 60lbs). Lol. The broadway show sounds fun! Xo

    Of course I let my dog sleep with me. I don’t know what I’d do if my future husband said NO! Dog first! She also likes to sleep under the covers, I love it.

    Love love love all the pink!!! My little beagle used to sleep with us, still does if I am having a rough day emotionally. How do dogs know when you need a little comfort?!
