I owned a camo jacket a few years ago and loved it, then just like trends do, camo seemed to fade out. #typical As women, we’re always limited on closet space, so I took that jacket to the consignment store and sure enough, this year it’s back. #typical This is why women don’t want to get rid of things and why we need giant closets to fit our clothing from decades/years past. <le sigh> Can someone please explain this to our husbands? #pleaseandthankyou
Anyway, I saw this one at Uniquities while having lunch at Cameron Village with a girlfriend and I had to have it. Not only do I love how it’s a little oversized, but it’s super soft which I love considering most jackets are stiff and rigid. It’s definitely going to be a staple throughout fall.
I don’t know if you were following along on snapchat this weekend, but I was in Sea Island, Georgia for the weekend staying at The Cloister (amazing) with some amazing ladies. Blogging has been such a blessing over the last few years and was reminded of that this past weekend. We had such an amazing time getting to know one another and also exploring the beautiful resort and I can’t wait to share my trip recap with y’all next week! Because I was trying to soak in the weekend, I got a little behind on social media, emails, etc. so I appreciate y’all bearing with me and showing up each day on my little blog to see if I posted or not. I promise I’ll be back to my regular scheduled posting soon!
Have you all been to Sea Island? It’s stunning. We had amazing weather. It was actually hilarious because I took sweaters and scarves and people were actually on the beach in bikinis, shorts. J I am really hoping fall arrives soon!
