What a week! I don’t like to talk politics much, but all I can say is WOW, I wasn’t expecting that. Regardless of what political party you were pulling for, I think it’s safe to say everyone was a little shocked. I for one just hope we band together instead of dividing further. I know a lot of people that are happy and sad and I love them all the same, so I think it’s important to just be kind regardless. #endrant

As you know, last weekend I was at the gorgeous Cloister Hotel and I’ll be recapping the trip this coming week after I go through and whittle down all the gorgeous images I took. This weekend I’m SO excited because I’m spending the WHOLE weekend with my two best gal pals from high school. I only get to see my girlfriends 1-2 times a year- if that, and this weekend I’ll be with them for TWO whole days. I know it doesn’t seem like that much time, but for us, it most certainly is. We’re heading to Charlottesville, VA and I’ve been wanting to visit there since we moved here 4 years ago. I am hoping it’s just as gorgeous as I’ve heard and that the tress are in full fall bloom. I’m sure the weekend will be filled with wine drinking, catching up and exploring the historic sites (my best friend is a huge history buff). 🙂 Make sure you’re following along on snapchat (welchie24), my girlfriends and I could not be more opposite, but I think that’s why I love them and cherish their friendship so much!
