Duck Boots

Jeans / Boots (similar) / Vest / Scarf / Tunic / Socks

Because I have short legs, I’ve been holding off on Duck Boots, because I knew they wouldn’t exactly elongate them. 🙂 I was right, but I am also glad I picked them up from Great Outdoor Provisions at Cameron Village a few weeks ago.  They are warm, dry and perfect for cooler weather and honestly, I love throwing them on with a big scarf or oversized sweater. I may not walk any runways in them (not that I ever would), but oh well- short girls can totally wear them too! I actually had the box on the table when I bought them and Aaron all of a sudden decided he wanted some too! Perhaps Santa brought some, or perhaps not. He reads this blog everyday (hey babe!) and he’ll just have to see.

Aaron and I are off to see Collateral Beauty today and I’m so looking forward to it. I typically feel like movies with all star casts aren’t great (i.e. Valentines Day, etc.), but I actually feel like this one will be really great and probably a tear jerker. Plus, I love a great movie this time of year and I feel like this one will be one of those “remember what’s important lessons”. Honestly, we all need those from time to time. I also feel like it wont be too crowded considering Star Wars is coming out (how many more can they possibly come up with?!).

Fun fact, I’ve never seen any of of the Star Wars films. I’m not 100% opposed, but its not like I have some crazy desire to see them either. I am not a huge Sci-Fan, but I do love a little fantasy every now and again. And, I did love Harry Potter obviously, who didn’t!?

What’s the best movie you’ve seen recently? I saw Fantastic Beasts a couple of weeks ago and thought it was so cute, so we’ll see about today’s pick. Happy Sunday friends. Christmas is in T-minus 7 days and I for one could not be more excited to spend it with those I love.
