There is something about living in North Carolina this time of year and being able to wear short sleeves without catching a cold. I personally love it, but I was also pretty pumped when a few weeks ago we stopped into Great Outdoor Provisions in Cameron Village in this top and polka dot coat to gather some supplies for an upcoming cabin retreat in the mountains where it will definitely be cold. 🙂 #cantwait But, in typical me fashion, of course while it’s been warm most days, I always need a coat because I’m pretty much the most inconsistent person on the planet when it comes to temperature! I love this adorable polka dot one from Kristen’s Shoes and Apparel. It may be just me, but I think the polka dots are really “grown up” thanks to the neutral coloring (I never tire of cognac). 🙂

I feel like Georgia has been so sad since our guests left that she just mopes and stares out the window. I’m starting to think she’s severely depressed and has FOMO. Anyone’s dog act that way once guests leave? I’ve just been feeding her treats like crazy because someone should be ignoring a New Year’s diet and it can’t be more or I’ll no longer fit into my pants! But seriously y’all, I have got to get this bod in check! Any pointers for fellow shorties like me? Since our anniversary just passed, I was perusing through our wedding photos and hole smokes- I’ve been induling in Southern cuisine and craft beers for far too long. 2017 is my year (don’t you love it at the beginning of the year when you have hope that it might be true?!) lol
