Y’all this cold will.not.leave. What gives? I know it’s “going around” but I miss breathing through my nose. It’s supposed to be in the high 60s all week here in Durham and I want to enjoy it! Instead, it feels like the week is slowly creeping along. How is it already Wednesday? Okay, end rant. Remember, don’t wish 5/7 of your life away. It’s so hard though.

Anywho! When I reached out to some of my readers on social channels during the month of December asking what y’all wanted to see from CB&BP in 2017, many of you said work wear. Since I do work full time in an actual office, I love these types of requests because it even makes me think outside the box for work appropriate clothing. It’s so easy to get into a rut with our work attire. I find myself reaching for the same things over and over again, so I’ve been trying to challenge myself to actually put some effort in. 🙂 I’ve talked before how I love dual function and blouses are just that. I paired this Evys Tree top with jeans, but it could just as easily be paired with a pair of skinny black work pants (I love these). Blouses are amazing wit any bottom honestly and I have started buying them like crazy when on sale because I wear them all the time. My only problem is making sure they are pressed! I hate ironing and not all steamers get them as nice and sleek! Luckily, when I wear them on the weekends vs. the office, I’m lazy not quite as picky.
