Happy Friday y’all! After this week, I’m glad to say we’re here, how was yours? What’s on the agenda? My birthday is next Tuesday, so I’m not sure if we’ll be “celebrating” this weekend or next. I say “celebrating” because I’m not sure how I even feel about this birthday. It’s the BIG 30 afterall! On one hand I know it’s just another number and really means nothing, but I have to admit, on the other hand I’ve been feeling a little sad about it. Maybe it’s that family and friends are so far away, or maybe it’s because it’s just the end of another decade, but regardless, I’ve been flip flopping back and forth each day for the last two weeks on if I even want to celebrate. If you’ve hit this milestone (or 40,50,60, etc), how did you feel about it? I have a feeling it’s going to be a game time decision on my part, it’s hard to celebrate exciting things when you’re not near friends and family and some of the friends and family you’ve gained here have moved away. I know we are abundantly blessed where we are in life, but sometimes being away is hard, no matter how many great people you have where you are, make sense? I do know one thing: there must be champagne. Good or bad, Champagne makes everything better, right? Bring on some Veuve!
