Aaron will tell you I’ve never met a pineapple I didn’t like and he’s right. Even before moving to the South and learning their significance, I was a fan of them. Now I place them in our home or in my wardrobe whenever I can. I’ve even started buying them for friends back home, educating them on the significance and offering a little piece of Southern culture for their homes. 🙂 So, naturally, when I spotted this pineapple top from Charlotte’s in Cameron Village after popping into European Wax Center (where I get my eyebrows waxed and they do amazing), I knew I needed would be purchasing this pineapple top because I simply loved it.

In other news, in less than 6 weeks, Aaron is done with residency. How crazy is that? These four years in Durham have gone by so crazy fast, and I can 100% say that I’ve loved our time here, even though it’s been challenging many days. We’ll be sticking around an additional year for Aaron’s fellowship, but I’m sure that year will fly by just as fast. My entire family of in-laws are coming in a  few weeks for graduation dinner, so I’ve been on a mad dash to get every crevice of our house cleaned out before their arrival. eek. One of the hardest things about residency is that there is a current flow of ins and outs and this year, some of my best friends in Durham are moving away and I am so sad to not have them here in the next year. <le sigh> I know you keep in touch with true friends, but it never makes saying goodbye easy. 🙁
