Nordstrom Early Access

Hey y’all! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale officially begins today for Nordstrom card holders! Don’t worry if you don’t have a card – this sale lasts for several weeks, but if you’re interested, you can sign up ASAP and shop with either your Nordstrom credit or debit and shop right away! I bet you’re already tired of hearing about this sale, but honestly, it’s one of the best all year, so that’s why I’m so excited (and people in general!)! I love scoring great transitional and fall pieces because once autumn rolls around, I already have a great fall base to build on! Plus, I’m super pumped to shop even more areas this year (did you see our announcement here) like baby and maternity!

There are a few important things to remember when shopping the sale, so I’ve outlined my shopping guide below as well as things that I already have my eye on!

When is the Sale?

Early Access begins TODAY, July 13th through July 20th. You get first dibs, but don’t worry if you don’t have a card because they restock often and there is so much inventory to choose from! Also, not a fan of credit cards, no problem! Go for the Nordstrom Debit Card and pull it straight from your account (and you don’t overspend!). 🙂

Public Access: Starts Friday, July 21st through Sunday, August 6th. At this point, ANYONE can shop the sale and trust, there is still so much to choose from at this point!

What Should I Look Shop/Snag?

As mentioned above, I love shopping for transitional fall pieces. I stock up on faux leather jackets, sweaters, boots and beauty. I love the three pack of these as well (they smell amazing). Also, sets in beauty! The best! You can also score some amazing designer pieces if there is something you’ve been eyeing, like these boots for example or luscious cashmere (my fave!). Also, designer denim or just denim in general is on sale for amazing prices!

What about the Basics?

Definitely! This is time to stock up on the basics, gym shoes, comfy clothes, etc! I also love getting new sheets, stuff for the home, etc! Oh, and men’s clothing too!

What will CB&BP be Shopping?

I plan to shop kids (ahhhh, still can’t believe it), men’s clothing (it’s the one time we get Aaron clothes a year!), flowy blouses, oversized sweaters, etc! I’ve never been super pumped about maternity clothes, so I’m hoping I can def. shop what will fit the bump as it grows. I also will be shopping some maternity as well (b/c pants…). 🙂 And beauty sets, they are the best. Plus, each year I allow myself one splurge! So this year it could be a great jacket or a bag, I can’t decide yet, but luckily there is plenty of time!

Below are some of the items that first caught my eye while putting this together, but I’ll be sharing more specific categories, what I’m buying, etc. over the next few days/weeks! And if you don’t want a card – don’t worry, there is still plenty of shopping to be had after the 21st!
