How is everyone fairing after all of the crazy weather this past weekend (and still currently?). I am still praying for Houston and it’s crazy to think about the events of this past week with Irma, earthquakes and fires. What message is Mother Nature sending?! I hope everyone that comes to visit CB&BP is safe (as well as everyone else) and I hope your loved ones are too. My in-laws moved to Florida four months ago and evacuated Friday to come stay with us while the storm passes. It took them a little over 15 hours to drive to us when it should have taken 7. It’s just crazy to think about, but I’m glad they left. Always better safe than sorry.
In other news, the weather in NC was just lovely this weekend. I don’t say that as a nah, nah, nah, boo, boo! I promise! But it was. It was cool, breezy and not hot per typical NC in September. I think this year more than ever I’m excited for fall because I’m pregnant, I’m just over the heat that comes along with summer. I’m ready to layer over this bump! Which is why I knew as soon as I saw these blush pink joggers that I needed them: elastic waist band, blush and perfect for heels or flats (which I wear more and more now that this thing bump is getting heavy!). These pink joggers actually run a bit big which means I’ll be able to wear these well throughout (hopefully) and I may or may not have also ordered them in olive. To me, olive just screams fall, so if you don’t have any, now is the time to make a purchase!They do wrinkle a little easy, but wrinkles have never really bothered me all that much in comfortable clothing, so if they bother you, maybe don’t buy these crepe pink joggers!
The countdown is on to the weekend. Aaron takes his boards on Friday meaning they will be over and I get my husband back from studying. It’s also a friends birthday and then Saturday we leave for vacation (and our babymoon)! So cheers to all that, strong coffee and another fresh start to the week.
