BIRTH ANNOUNCEMENTS DETAILS:
Birth Announcements via Minted / Newborn Photography for Announcements Amy Fansler Photography / Blog Photos Glory Roze
Hey y’all! Today I’m so excited to share our birth announcements that we sent out upon Poppy’s arrival. When she was about 1.5 weeks old, we did a newborn session with local photographer Amy Fansler so I knew I’d be utilizing photos from that session for our birth announcements. Her lifestyle photos are just stunning and because of this, we opted for a photo of Poppy on the front and then a family photo on the back since I couldn’t choose just one to introduce her to the world! I know a lot of people don’t send birth announcements anymore, but it was important to me so announce her arrival to our family and friends– it’s such a beautiful way to celebrate the birth of a new baby! Plus, I like the idea of people having a photo of her if they should choose to keep it!
In addition to opting for a two photo design on our birth announcements, we also opted to have Minted address our envelopes with their address assistant. GAME CHANGER! We did this for our holiday cards and it saves so.much.time and just makes the announcement packaging look lovely! I love that Minted has a compatible envelope for each design in addition to options for envelope liners, stamps, etc. it makes their packaging seem finessed and beautiful just like a beautiful present!

We received so many compliments on the finished birth announcements and I am so happy we have a gorgeous reminder to celebrate our sweet girl. I have ordered so many things from Minted (here and here) over the years and their quality never ceases to amaze me.
I’d love to know if you sent birth announcements. I had so much fun doing ours, snail mail is the best!
