Hey y’all! Happy Monday! I typically would never wish for a Monday, but yesterday with Poppy was a rough one. She refused to nap and cried the majority of the day, so I am welcoming Monday with open arms and hoping for a fresh start to the week. Days like that are extremely frustrating, but I keep trying to remind myself that she doesn’t know what she’s doing either, she’s new to this world! We’ve been doing the eat, play, sleep method and I am wondering if we need to drill down some exact times, if you have any advice, I would appreciate it!
Also speaking of babies…baby weight. My post baby body is definitely not shaping up to be pre-baby as quickly as I had hoped. With the flu season in full swing, it’s been hard to get to the gym with Poppy (they have daycare), so I can only go when Aaron gets home at a reasonable hour (which unfortunately isn’t often as a fellow). Throughout my C-section recovery a lot of my muscle mass deteriorated and add a few extra pounds and I’m definitely not feeling/looking my best. Plus, nursing makes me SOOO hungry! That’s why as soon as I saw this adorable wrap top, I knew it would be flattering. I think every woman should own a great wrap dress, so it’s a no brainer I feel the same about a great wrap top. Plus, I love the subtle pinstriping (although it also comes in solid too). If you’re larger chested like me, sometimes a wrap top or dress can be a bit revealing, but I have found that if you just tie it tight, it’s actually not a problem!
