Hey y’all, happy Tuesday. We made it back from Ohio last night and our trip was definitely a whirlwind. Short trips home are always bittersweet, but we were so happy our family and friends could finally meet Penelope. She did really well given the fact that her bedtime was completely messed up and she was passed around to many strangers (to her), but loved ones to us. She doesn’t know it yet, but everyone she meets is so important to her already and even though it was a short trip, it was worth it.
I grabbed this bag on a whim when running out the door and while it’s definitely a little bright against all the basic nudes, sometimes you just need a little pop of color. I definitely always gravitate towards neutrals, but bags and accessories are so fun to play around with (I especially love a good statement earring). Plus, one of the reasons why I love basic neutrals in my closet is because when paired with fun bags and accessories, you can switch up your closet staples with the easiest items. Y’all now I’m all about versatility.
Now I’m off to do all the laundry from the weekend (isn’t that just the worst?) and try to get our little babe back on a schedule (ugh). But first, coffee of course!
