For those of you who follow me on Instagram, you probably saw me post about this bird print shirt dress. I have chatted about shirtdresses on the blog before (here and here, etc. etc.) and I feel no differently about them than I did when I wrote all the other posts. 🙂 They are classic, versatile and easy…win, win, win. Recently, I styled this bird number (how fun is this print) as a kimono because– why not? I just removed the belt that came on the dress for the day and voila, another way to get some mileage out of a piece you probably already own! Style tip for the day y’all, run to your closets now!

Anywho, I feel like I haven’t been able to catch my breath in life lately, so once again, I appreciate you sticking around. We’ve been traveling around, trying to prep our house to go on the market and house searching from a far for a house in Ohio (all so stressful). It’s nuts around here (oh, and taking care of a baby while doing all of the above is a challenge!).  We are actually traveling to Ohio this coming weekend for some house stuff, so we’ll be on the road with Poppy again, but then after that trip we don’t have anything in the books for awhile and while I love a good road trip, I am so looking forward to just staying put and getting caught up on life. I feel so behind!

Anyway, I hope y’all had a wonderful start to the week and that your Tuesday is even better than your Monday was. While Tuesday is probably my least favorite day of the week (it’s really just a better looking Monday), it is one step closer to the weekend which means visiting with family and friends that we miss dearly…so for this week, I’m welcoming Tuesday with open arms (and two cups of coffee of course!).
