HIIIIIIIII…I in no way shape or form meant to take a week long hiatus from posting, but if you follow me on Instagram stories (amy_cbandbp), you know we were visiting my in-laws at their new home in Florida. Then, when I went to catch back up on life, my site was experiencing some problems. I may or may not had some minor freak outs, but I think we have it solved (for now) and I’m working on a more permanent fix. OY. ANYWAY, how was your Easter (if you celebrate?!). We drove all morning on Easter Sunday (which also happened to be Aaron’s birthday), but we got home at a decent hour so we could celebrate the day together as a family (and his birth duh!).

I have had this military olive jacket literally for years. It’s actually an XS (which shows how long I’ve had it since once upon a time I was that small) so it’s a tad too little, but I keep rocking it anyway! 🙂 If you don’t have a utility olive jacket in your closet, you really need one. I actually bought a navy one last summer, but I do find myself reaching for the olive color more, not sure why, maybe because I have green eyes? I also find myself reaching for these sneakers time and time again since becoming a mom (and even before). It was weird, I didn’t wear heels or wedges one time when we were in Florida, which is SO different than I how I typically dress on vacation, it truly is more about comfort and ease for me right now in my life. I can’t imagine lugging Poppy in her seat around in my Louboutins! But maybe one day!

I am determined to GSD today, so it’s on to my second cup of coffee. Thank you all for reading even if I am a crazy person with no current posting schedule. I SO appreciate each and every one of you!
