Towards the end of my pregnancy, I kept telling Aaron how I was going to get in shape before summer and how I was happy we were having a December baby since it would give me five months to bounce back before the start of summer. I was SO wrong. You guys, I am still 8lbs away from my pre-baby weight and 20lbs away from my pre-North Carolina weight. My abs are still floppy, my boobs ginormous from nursing and when I went to the mall the other day to try on dresses for family photos, I left because I had already went in the dressing room with the next size up and when it didn’t fit, I wanted to cry.
The truth is, I haven’t really dieted and I have definitely been indulging on anything and everything because #motherhood. This body is FAR from where I want it to be, but right now, I just don’t have the mental capability (or energy) to count calories, points or make the right choice when it comes to picking a salad over pasta. I tell you this because it’s real, my body did not bounce back after P was born, I have little dimples from pregnancy cellulite in places I never had them before, clothes that fit last summer won’t even go over my hips and my rib cage is at least two sizes bigger than it was (mommas, does this ever go back down? I’m thinking no). But guess what? Until I decide it’s time to make a change, this is my body and it brought my beautiful Penelope. Am I frustrated? Yes. I definitely do not feel like my best self, so this is not a post about loving myself, it’s a post about being real and a product I’ve been using to help me feel a little more confident until I can get back to feeling my best self; PFB Vanish’s new skini cream.
I’ve actually chatted about the brand before, but I’ve been reaching for their Skini Cream cellulite smoothing cream to help with after pregnancy cellulite since warmer weather hit because it’s officially “show more skin” season <le sigh>. I’ve been using it for about a month now and I can honestly say that I do think I see a difference, plus, it’s affordable which is the biggest yes for me since so many great skin products are not. This is what the description states: “”when applied twice daily, in the morning and at night, skini cream™ results in a tighter abdomen, slimmer thighs, and overall smoother skin.” Now, since I barely remember if I brush my teeth in the morning and night, I forget to put it on twice daily, but if I did…watch out Gisele. 🙂 In all honesty though, I love the tingling sensation and it glides on smooth and absorbs quickly which means I don’t have to waste time waiting for it to dry. Along with 2-3 days at the gym, I do feel like I’ve toned up a bit, and I’ll continue to use it even when (if ever) I get my post baby bod back. I’m typically not a product jumper because “why fix it if it ain’t broke?”
I am never opposed to doing what you need to do to feel confident, so if you need a little help with your bumps and dimples from pregnancy cellulite, no shame! I use caffeine every morning in coffee form, so why not add a little to my beauty regime! You can pick up the product here (also check out their hair removal products – love their razor burn lotion!).
Have a great one friends, as always thank you, thank you for reading. Y’all are amazing and make this post-baby bod momma feel very lucky!

Thank you for just being honest and real. It is truly refreshing. Your body created the little human in which you love more than life! And for that, I give you big kudos!! I know we are our worst critics, but don’t be so hard on yourself. One day at a time!! You are fabulous!!
