Wine, black floral maxi dress and flip flops. Is there anything better? I think not.
I don’t know if you saw our instastory last night, but Aaron and I STILL aren’t in our house. WOMP WOMP. A little bit of backstory, we bought our house and knew we needed work done, but we never imagined it would take so long. We’re having the printed ceilings scraped, new carpets put in and also the majority of the house painted. It’s going on two weeks and we’re still staying with my brother-in-law and sister-in-law. They are being the MOST gracious hosts, but despite what they say, I know hosting me, Aaron, Pops, Bella and G is a lot. We’re so very appreciative, but y’all know it’s just nice to have your own space in life. I am just SO OCD and I want to get into our space, unpack organize, etc. Oh, and start the 10000000 projects we have to do in our house (sorry Aaron!).
Until we’re in, I’ve been drinking wine every night, soaking up time with Aaron while he’s off work, kisses with P and time with my niece and nephew. Every-time I miss NC, I remember this is why we came back. For nephew snuggles, nice peek-a-boos and Poppy kisses. It doesn’t seem like we’ve accomplished anything since being here in two weeks, but I guess we’ve accomplished making up for lost time.

Happy Friday friends. We may go to the house and stare at the walls that still need painted, we may go pick new carpet, or we may go to the zoo. I guess it doesn’t matter….we’re home, right?
